TREORCHY POOL CLOSURE FOR REFURBISHMENT

Hello to everyone at Treochy Comp!

Some AMAZING news just in, that is, however, unfortunately, going to have an impact on our swimming lessons.

Finally, after years of asking if we could at least give the changing rooms a lick of paint and clean the floors during school holidays (denied) the school have now attained funding, which they have to use immediately, for the changing rooms to be modernised. This is fabulous for all of us as I think we can agree it's sorely in need of updating.

As a result of the maintenance work, we will have some gender neutral changing areas as well as new showers ,floors, walls, and toilets.

All brilliant news for our Little Bubbles community.

With this in mind, unfortunately, they have to close the pool to carry out the work safely.

This means that from Monday 27th February, the pool will be CLOSED for at least 5 weeks.

The school doesn't want to yet give us a firm restart date in case of plans going awry.

I am sorry that we have to close at all but am happy I can offer better changing rooms at the end of it.

In relation to impact; all lessons will be paused and will return the week after the work is completed.

If lessons finish on week 6 this week, upon our return, we will continue on week 7, etc

I will let you know specific days individually.

In relation to payments:

Paid deposits and course fees for next term will still guarantee your space for the next block of lessons. Please be assured money will still be allocated to the appropriate lessons.

I would also like to say we do have some spaces in Beddau on a Tuesday 4,4.30 or 5pm for those that can make it there , I will try to fit you in for sure.
